Kali Protectives makes helmets and protective gear for mountain bikers, both gravity oriented and XC style. They are located in Morgan Hill, CA, not too far from Mtbr HQ. Their passion for all things two wheeled also include safety gear for motocross riders as well as street/sport bike riders.
I met with founders Mike Wilson and Brad Waldron during Happy Hour in their booth. Needless to say, their booth was packed!
The new hotness being shown was the Avatar 2 carbon fiber full face helmet. Offering great protection, this lid weighs in at a scant 770 grams!
